This year’s Spring Showcase is called “You Can’t Take it With You.” The plot centers around the relationship between Alice Sycamore and Tony Kirby. They meet and get engaged despite the fact that their families do not get along.

Senior Joe Keeley plays Mr. Kirby, father of Tony Kirby, and is a Wall Street executive during the great depression. “I’m not the most well-liked character,” Keeley said.

According to Keeley, the showcase talks a lot about the importance of family and other relationships. Ultimately, the showcase is a comedy. “One thing I like about it,” said Keeley, “is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously.”

Catch it April 28, 29 and 30 at 7:30 p.m. in PAC. Student tickets are five dollars and adult tickets are seven dollars.
