Are you a creative writer, photographer, or artist? Do you have a strong opinion on gun control? The Eyrie has two upcoming opportunities for students to be published.

The annual EPHS Literary Magazine, organized and laid out by Eyrie staff, is looking for submissions of poetry, short stories, artwork, and photography. Send your work to [email protected] or stop by the ERC or room 208 during 3rd hour. Submissions are due by Saturday, March 10th.

With the recent Parkland school shooting and general rise in mass shootings, gun laws have been at the forefront of national discussion. The Eyrie is looking for student opinions on this topic for our next issue.

In 250 words or less, students are invited to respond to the following prompt: “What can be done to prevent school shootings?” Email your response by Thursday, March 8th with your name and grade to [email protected]. Students can email if they have any other questions.

The Eyrie staff looks forward to reviewing your submission.
