NHS operation glass slipper
The National Honor Society is collecting prom dresses, shoes, purses and other accessories for Operation Glass Slipper. The goal of the organization is to outfit girls across Minnesota with beautiful dresses so they can attend prom when they would otherwise not be able to due to family or financial circumstances. Bring in your sibling’s old prom dress or your heels from last year’s dance to one of the boxes near the North and East entrances. NHS will be collecting donations from March 13th to the 17th.
If you believe you are a sophomore or junior worthy of honor, apply for the National Honor Society to prove it. To apply, you must submit a letter of intent, your resume, a character essay and your transcript with your GPA which must be 3.70 or higher. There is an informational session on March 23rd in room 304 where you can learn more about the specifics of applying.
Pick up an application in the Career Resource Center and fill it out with evidence of your great character, leadership, scholarship and service to be a candidate for NHS. You can turn in your application to the CRC by Thursday, March 30th.
