A toast to avocado toast

Total Time: 6 minutes


  •      1 ripe avocado
  •      2 pieces of bread: preferably whole grain or sprouted grain
  •      1 tbsp. of garlic salt
  •      2 eggs
  •      2 slices of mozzarella cheese (based on preference)
  •      Optional: Sriracha sauce


  1.     Put both pieces of toast into the toaster oven or toaster for 5 minutes
  2.     Add cheese to the toast after or in the middle of toasting
  3.     Cut the avocado in half and mash it in a bowl
  4.     Add garlic (more dependent on taste)
  5.     In a skillet, crack the eggs and cook them sunny-side up
  6.     Put the avocado on the cheese toast and top it with the egg
  7.     Add pepper and salt on top
  8.     Optional: A drizzle of Sriracha sauce on the egg

This is an amazing option for both vegetarians and omnivores. It is healthy, filling, and absolutely delicious. It takes under 10 minutes to make and is low cost. This can be both a meal and a snack, but is a true indulgent.
