The Eyrie has just released their first publication of the year. After two months of brainstorming, interviewing, writing, taking photos and working on layout, the staff has published the November issue of The Eyrie magazine. The first issue features 36-pages and a wide variety of stories, opinions and news. On November 3, 2017, during third hour, The Eyrie staff passed out the magazines in the old and new commons.

There was a little surprise waiting for students who reached the end of the magazine. In select issues, there was a coupon to redeem free candy in room 208. The candy available was Reese’s, Hersey’s and KitKat. If you were unable to obtain a copy of The Eyrie, you can check the online version of our publication on this website!

Last year, both our magazine and our literary magazine won an all-state gold award. This award was given by the Journalism Educators of Minnesota in recognition of excellent writing, editing, photography and design. For this upcoming year, the staff hopes to exceed the expectations and continue the quality work of representing Eden Prairie High School’s student body.
